Hi, After discussing this RFC at AFUP, we (all of those who expressed their mind) are +1. Basically: not a big change, consistent with what's been done for preg. Thanks!

I've missed to vote, but it passed anyway. Currently mb_eregi_replace_callback() is not implemented, while mb_ereg_replace_callback is there. Although it is not strictly required, it's API inconsistency. Please add it. It's trivial also. Regards,
