Hello, it's about time, I'm kindly requesting RFC karma on wiki.php.net to work on an RFC proposing to add a Stringable interface to PHP8, PR here: https://github.com/php/php-src/pull/5083 Also, voting capabilities please, for my involvement in Symfony. Account: nicolasgrekas Thanks for considering! Nicolas

I have just granted you RFC karma.

That would require a php.net account first, for which you can apply via <https://www.php.net/git-php.php>. Thanks, Christoph

I'm not a fan of this, especially considering the nightmare that the proposal to add special voting rights for FIG members and what not, once one start creeps in, everyone will. If the contributor in question wanted to be active at the PHP project, then I see no problem in it

Wow. Can we please be a little less aggressive? AFAICS Nicolas is creating his first RFC and has a patch for it that you already have commented on on github, so I see no foul play here. Besides, Symfony has left PHP-FIG a while back ;-) Cheers
