I realize this is probably a big question; however, it will determine the
outcome of a project I am working on. When will be the first official
release of PHP 5.0.0?

[29-Jun-2003] PHP 5.0.0 Beta 1

[30-Oct-2003] PHP 5.0.0 Beta 2

[18-Mar-2004] PHP 5.0.0 Release Candidate 1

[25-Apr-2004] PHP 5.0.0 Release Candidate 2

Are we expecting another Release Candidate, as I am predicting that it
should hopefully, arrive in June/July. Anyway, I would appreciate if you
could give me a speculative date that I could work from, thanks.

It's finished, when it's finshed. Do not expect a satisfying answer, as I
did for years.

We are currently working towards a release in (mid-)July with a last
Release Candidate 2 to 4 weeks before the final release.
