Unfortunatly, clamav is totally GPL - so anything based on the libs must be gpl as well. really bloody annoying, especially as this would be a nice project to have on pecl (imo, but I'm biased). Anyway, it's a mute point due to the license.

Perhaps by 2007 this will be possible once the new GPL license comes out which is supposedly going to be slightly less anal about combining with BSD-style licenses like the Apache and PHP licenses. -Rasmus

Actually, you need to write to pecl-dev about it. And don't start with requesting CVS account, it would be good if you tell us about your project and it's licensing first. Thanks.
