Dear fake name person: Have you tried submitting patches to the extension maintainer listed at http://pecl.php.net/package/yaz ? Does Adam approve of you having direct commit access to the yaz extension? Apart from following proper protocol for contributing to an extension, I'm interested in knowing what improvements you would like to make to the extension (as probably one of the few people on this list who actually use Z39.50 on a regular basis).
